I worked at Adobe full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Lots of opportunity for growth and contribution - but you've got to be a go-getter to find them.

Cons

Teams can be bloated, and scope of responsibilities limited. You have to seek out challenges. Also, the layoff cycle.

I have been working at Adobe full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Employees are highly valued and handsomely rewarded. The dev environment is second to none. Lastly, the company culture is more like a family than the ever present industry sweat shop.

    Cons

Executive management indecision or wild swings in strategy. This makes job security a constant issue among the rank and file.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Plan well and invest for success. Work to increase confidence in the strategy at the ground level. When it's time to change direction, reassign rather than indiscriminately layoff and rehire.
