Stay away from this company if you are not an Engineer...

Business Analyst (Former Employee) San Jose, CA

ProsGreat Benefits Package, Great Company if you are an Engineer

ConsIf you work in any G&A function (Legal, Audit, Supply Chain, Purchasing, IT, Order Mangement) in which Adobe Managers have been in the group for 10+ years, your advancement opportunities are nill, which is of course not what I was told during the interview. Managers are only interested in working you so that they can get ahead. Absolutely the worst company I have worked for.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet rid of the managers who don't do any work!!!

    I worked at Adobe

Pros: The compensation at Adobe is difficult to beat. Certainly the benefits and the stock plan are excellent. The company "cares" about its employees… Cons: Adobe as a company faces tremendous challenges in both its culture and its business. The core business, Creative Suites, seems to have eroded somewhat… Advice to Senior Management: Please, get your act together. The purpose of management, according to Drucker, is to unite people with disparate skill sets around a common mission… More
