I have been working at Advance Auto Parts full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

Career growth is solid, but you must put forth the effort.
Excellent perks at upper levels, maybe too many in some cases.

Cons

Too top heavy in management.
Commercial field teams not completely sales driven.

Look at the eeffects of what happens with being top heavy to what teams in the field need.

    People are easy going and friendly

    lots of lifting of heavy batteries and customers who have no idea what they want, and can be overbearing.

    I have been working at Advance Auto Parts full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    Great people in the stores. Competitive pay compared to others in industry. Great products and name brands sold in the stores. Great values and good business practices with the customers.

    Cons

    Leadership statagies are not working and they blame operations. Leadership is not stable. Continues to change leadership but the results do not change. Culture is not there anymore.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Need to appreciate what you have in the team and the talent you have as an organization. If you have more than 65% of your team failing to meet your statagies, then you need to have the courage to accept that your statagies are not working to grow.
