I have been working at Advantage Sales and Marketing full-time for more than a year

Pros

promote from within
yearly club supervisor trips
depending on your DSM you can create a good work life balance as a Club Supervisor at Sams Club

Cons

Company runs a bit like a schizophrenic or bipolar person is at the helm....they stop and start initiatives with no rhyme or reason. Club Supervisors are expected to maintain a 99% on date execution but are often understaffed to acihieve this goal. CS's are caught in the middle between an often dont give a care attitude from Sam's Club management and a kiss butt attitude from ASM. ASM needs to negotiate a firm contract with Sam's club and both parties work to fulfill it.

I have been working at Advantage Sales and Marketing part-time for less than a year

    Pros

It's work with pay no frills...period.

    Cons

Not enough hours only allowed 6 hrs per shift. You don't start work until after 10 am and work till 5-6 pm ( the best part of the work day is over when you start) Instead of giving you a full 8 hrs and 40 hr week they take the best part of the day and have you waiting to go to work all morning. There's 25-30 employees just getting 13 - 20 hr a week!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give better pay with more hours, regular raises and bonus to us "little people" supporting you and your lifestyles. You pay your lead ES the same as a regular ES then pile on extra responsibility with no compensation other than the title...Woo Hoo!

I worked at Advantage Sales and Marketing full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Advantage Sales and Marketing was a good opportunity for part-time and virtually work.

    Cons

Due to the nature of the business the salaries are very low and most part-time employees do not get benefits.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It would be helpful to provide some sort of part-time benefits and offer a minimum of 20 hours per week to every demonstrator.
