    I worked at Advantage Sales and Marketing full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    small office, easy job, casual dress standards.

    Cons

    Office politics, poor culture, not a proponent of change, a lot of repetition of tasks and redundancy in jobs. Very inefficient. Poor management.

    managers in the Smyrna office need serious team building activities and leadership training.

    Pros

    ASM provided a great opportunity to work with a great product lineup in a positive, potentially stimulating work environment that provided challenges and great relationship building opportunities.

    Cons

    Lack of management experience in creating specific account relationships created a tense, adversarial environment that led to deception and unfulfilled expectations.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Understand the relationship dynamics between accounts so that all involved have complete buy-in and understand the objectives of the sales floor to create a successful positive work environment.
