    I have been working at Advantage Sales and Marketing full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    ASM provided a great opportunity to work with a great product lineup in a positive, potentially stimulating work environment that provided challenges and great relationship building opportunities.

    Cons

    Lack of management experience in creating specific account relationships created a tense, adversarial environment that led to deception and unfulfilled expectations.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Understand the relationship dynamics between accounts so that all involved have complete buy-in and understand the objectives of the sales floor to create a successful positive work environment.

    I have been working at Advantage Sales and Marketing (less than an year)

    Pros

    -They like to promote from within
    -Try new products
    -Flexible hours if dsm is reasonable
    -Represent lots of Clients

    Cons

    -They screw over old clients to accommodate new clients
    -Micromanaging to the extreme
    -HR is worthless
    -Recruiting is wasted money
    -Compensation is pathetic
    -Policies change week by week
    -Upper management has no empathy

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Let your supervisors supervise! I've only been here 6 months and am fed up. You have a good vision and mission but need to listen to your employees for proper follow through.
