Pros

The LDA programs gives an individual a chance to learn about the CPG industry, they are teamwork driven environment, they provide helpful and positive feedback, and management wants you to succeed and work your way up in the company. There is so much room for growth.

Cons

The only cons about the LDA program is you are working at the bottom. However, they do not take advantage of this situation and you do learn from every task given.

    Pros

    Not living close to supervisor

    Cons

Poor management, back-stabbers, don't care about employees, they hire people that don't know what they are doing or how to supervise, very little chance for advancement (and who would want to), pushy, keep taking away benefits from employees, never give employees warnings if something is wrong (they just fire you and always for misconduct), they only like employees that are willing to be "Yes" people with no backbone.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of management clear up at the top and start thinking more about the people that work for you. The more you take and more disrespect you will get. Time for a union to step in.

    Pros

Great structure and diverse workforce Outstanding employee services Family atmosphere maintaining a business first attitude Latest use of technology Highly developed thought and effort go into training employees Helping hands everywhere, there are no questions that are left unanswered Tons of avenues to choose from where YOU want to take your career Supportive of great and innovative ideas that the company can use First class amenities when on business trips Ability to travel or stay local depending on your career path

    Cons

Some of the climbing of the "corporate ladder" can really be menial and tedious activity There are some paperwork and bureaucratic hoops that have to be jumped through that can cause headaches Field training can be frustrating Handling multiple bosses at a single time can be a struggle at times The amount of filling out surveys/reports to get something can be frustrating Sometimes the help you recieve can frustrate you further (true in all careers noted*)

    Advice to Management

When there is an LDA/ACE in the office on set days, keep them entirely engaged in work and business activities. Make sure the LDA is aware that THEY are the ones that have to seek and find opportunities to work with their superiors on specific projects. Make sure there are clear, open lines of communication that allow the LDA to be fully aware of all necessary topics. Continue to make the LDA feel the ability to approach any member of the organization with questions/concerns/comments.
