I have been working at Advantage Sales and Marketing part-time (less than a year)

Pros

Very flexible in terms of hours, if you're a student this is a GREAT part-time job.
Schedule is out two weeks in advance so you can plan your week around it very easily.

Cons

Managers are hard to reach if your have a question. Most of the time you have to figure out what you're doing on your own.

I worked at Advantage Sales and Marketing full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Great job for many years as a sales rep (merchandiser) for ASM on a DRT team. There are different teams you can work for. These are with top notch companies through Advantage.
Maintaining a store route and POS sales and dristribution for a fortune 500 company was great. Maintained top 20 almost 10 years with company. Overall a good company.

    Cons

Micro management by upper management in recent years of the seasoned employees who were consistently meeting goals was challenging and more emphasis could have been better directed with the newer employees. Just my opinion. Multi-tasking and work-load became somewhat more challenging in recent years. Also changes in the way expenses were paid.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better route structure and less micro-managing performers. More focus on the newer employees during the first 1-3 years.

I have been working at Advantage Sales and Marketing

    Pros

The company is flexible to their employee's needs. Fellow coworkers are friendly and knowledgeable.

    Cons

Most are doing a job that really is meant for 2 or even three. Being buzzy is some thing, being over whelmed is another thing all together.
