Pros

None. Unethical and unfair expectations of employees.

Cons

They overworked, under paid, promised increases that take years for the company to make good on, along with Federal HIPPA violations of having conference calls with equal level employees stating details of personal health issues of employee and unjust dismissals of employees and outright lying to Major Food Chain Customers in order to maintain their Major Client base, at times purchasing other vendors on the "Approved Vendor List" in order to keep Major Clients when being told by Major Food Chains to keep all ASM employees out of their food Chains in essence lying.

Different tiered reimbursement for Management and Employees gasoline reimbursements and types of lodging. Management receives Federal Guideline reimbursements, while employees receive approximately 33% of it.

Advice to Management

Sell the company back to owners who actually care about employees rather than #1 being their bottom line.

    Pros

    Basically none. Possibly good for a recent college graduate for their first job, but only if they stay there 6 months and then get the hell out. They will make you promises but will NEVER follow through with them.
    There is really no reason to go to work for this company, not unless you really need a job.

    Cons

    ALL the management from Tonya on down are cheerleaders. They all talk a good game and really want to pump you up with their words. In reality their words are meaningless..

    Advice to Management

    Management is LOUSY. From the top down. They treat you like cattle. Expect more and more from you on a regular basis with NO INCENTIVE. Making 12 bucks an hour and being a part time employee is what I was. They expect you to work like a full time employee but only give you 24 hours a week to do it. They expect you to have a great attitude all the while demoralizing you to the point of insanity. Management makes the BIG DOLLARS while paying the people that actually work like CRAP. They think they have the manufacturers fooled into thinking what they do really matters.
    You can put in any figures you want into the IPAD (their reporting system) and if it looks good everyone is satisfied. If you are honest in your reporting (putting in actual distribution voids, OOSs, etc) you are asked to change it to make it look better for the manufacturer. The manufacturers need to wake up and realize that Advantage Sales and Marketing is blowing smoke up their butts. The figures are reality and are all false reporting.

    Pros

    My co workers and employees were great and we worked very well as a team, but upper management was only concerned about themselves.

    Cons

    Upper management would tell us to do one thing and wouldn't follow thru on their end. Out in the field we are very disconnected and a lack of support and help from anyone. They rule with an iron fist and don't encourage people to do their best. Or more like do "the" best or you will be replaced. Not a good work enviorment at all.

    Advice to Management

    Senior management is only concerned about their score. They don't actually talk to people and find out what the issues are and how to improve anything.
