Loved the job until new HR team took over. ASM is not "THAT" company everyone should work for. Fire management!

Pros

If you are one that can adapt to constant change and not having good managers that are strong leaders...it can be fun.

Cons

Constant changes and poor management. Living one day at a time w no stability.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to employees and do things to fix issues. Hire management staff that has brains.....

    Pros

    Flexible work schedule, decent pay.

    Cons

    Some weeks hardly any hours, very bad leadership. The culture is a very like, favorites are picked and get away with anything. While others don't get as many hours and other previlages.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Oversee your supervisors better to know what's really going on. It could be a great place to work if they knew what really was going on more.

    Pros

    Great team to work with. One very great DSM. Realignment put me in different district. Everything went down hill from then on.

    Cons

    Poor upper management. Do all they want and it was still never enough. HR was informed of issues and nothing was done. Pay did not reflex years of service or how well you do your job. In my district the one with the best body gets the money. I personally trained many new club supervisor who came in making more.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Talk to the people you employee. Listen to what is being said. Stop spending money on things that don't benefit the whole, not just those in the good old boys club.
