    Pros

Working in a health care enviornment. If you are outgoing a plus, but don't be overly friendly can be construed as lacksadaisical. Very great area for networking with doctors and cliental.

    Cons

Lack of set standard operating procedures utilize antiquated security system that leaves securing the building almost impossible. Improper utilization of security personnel.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work on standard operating procedures. Utilize a newer security camera system that is user friendly. Demonstrate loyalty to your employees by ensuring doctrine is followed throughout the hospital and not changed as a convenience of nurses.

I worked at Advocate Health Care

    Pros

Great benefits..........decent pay........advancement with education...they pay for you to go back to school. Using Advocate sites for your own health care was 100 discounts. You could transfer sites if there was jobs openings that suited you. They had many site all over Northeastern Illinois. Many different opportunities for a change in jobs, if one wanted. You have to stay for 6 months in your job, but after that, you can transfer, not just job, but area and location.

    Cons

Too many bosses, not enough worker bees. Too many employee staff meetings. FMLA was easily taken advantage of by many employee's and that would double the work load to those that were working the floors

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

lessen the work load. Hire better people. Do not implement to many changes at one time
