I worked at Aerotek full-time for less than a year

Pros

Great Training. Opportunity to earn a lot of money at a very early stage in your career. Promotion within 6 mos- 1 year.

Cons

Work/Life balance is very bad. Usually start work by 7:30a, end around 6:30p most days. Once you are promoted to Account Manager there are not promotions for another 5-7 years (although you can make a lot of money as an AM). Very High Pressure, High Criticism environment.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

12 hour days will burn people out. High turnover is not good for any business.

I have been working at Aerotek full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Seems like a great first job out of college.

    Cons

Easily work 12 hour days consistently. KPI's (Key performance indicators) are set too high causing all employees to work very late. Even when numbers are met, most stay around for 'face-time'. Very political and 'high school' esque environment. Your entrance into the company is as a recruiter and you report to an Account Manager. Not all AM's should be allowed to be someone's supervisor and boss as these AM's tend to make the recruiters do half of their job duties.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would not recommend this company to any entry level grad. Especially in Atlanta. Entry level candidates should have a work-life balance and not feel anxiety at work due to politics.

I have been working at Aerotek full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    There are none right now.

    Cons

The pay is low. If the company that you are contracted allows it, to make a decent living, you have to work alot of ovetime hours. Raises are non-existent. They blame it on the company and you never know how much the company is paying them so you don't know if they are being fair in the hourly wage that you are getting.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give raises on a regular basis or negotiate better deals for the contract employees. You wouldn't continue working for Aerotek directly if you weren't getting proper raises.
