I worked at Aerotek full-time for more than a year

Pros

steady paycheck, nice people, decent benefits

Cons

Long hours, Sometimes you will chase "unfillable" job requirements

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay your recruiters more and give them more opportunities to make bonuses.The problem with this position is that sales reps would bring in all kinds of job requirements that weren't realistic to fill. They would ask us to find people with crazy amounts of experience but want to pay them nothing. 12-13 hour days were pretty much expected every day except Friday. However, if you have a job req open on Friday, you are expected to stay well after 5. Very little work/life balance.

    Pros

    As a contract employee, you don't have much contact with the contract house.

    Cons

    Benefits aren't very good. Pay increases are meager.

    I have been working at Aerotek

    Pros

    You draw a paycheck. They give you a bonus at 3&9 months. You get the training you need for the field you are wanting to get hired into.

    Cons

    You can never get in touch with Aerotek when you have a problem or concern. They offer benefits, but they are expensive compared to what you make hourly. You have to work a minimum of 6 months before you can get hired on by company your working at and any holidays count against that 6 months.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Have your reps answer phones or return calls when you leave a message. Shorten transition time or not count time off against the employees.
