Pros

You work with a young energitic group of people, who are all driven to work hard and make money. You learn cold calling techniques that allow you to call anyone at anytime. You are given a clear direction by your managers, but still allowed to be your own boss.

Cons

Sometimes you do spend a lot of time at your desk. Staffing can be and up and down business

Advice to Management

management has a clear goal and a defined path of what they are trying to do. keep it up

    Pros

    Nice view of the bay

    Cons

Very numbers driven. They'll call you out in front of the entire office. They tout a 'feedback rich environment' which is just their name for heavy criticism.

It is a very old school company - doesn't promote new ideas, creative thinking, etc. You do things by the book, you work long hours and bring in money and they'll probably promote you. Anything less than that, and they'll make your experience miserable until you leave or you're fired.

Many of the higher level managers have never worked at another company and really feel like they're 'big dogs'. Because of this, they can be arrogant, disrespectful and chauvinistic. Generally unprofessional.

    Pros

Company puts you through formal training. They promote from within. Keeping their culture is very important to the company throughout the entire nation (it is a BIT frat/sorority feel). Your co-workers do become some of your best friends. There is opportunity for growth. The company teaches you a LOT about working in corporate America (getting along with co-workers, being on time, business casual every day). Company focuses on your growth goals both personal and professional and helps you attain them. Overall, great company, co workers with opportunity to grow.

    Cons

If you work for Aerotek, you will be working quite long hours, but that is a part of recruiting in agency life. The offices are a bit dreary and there are no free lunches etc. The staffing industry itself can be a bit tiring.

    Advice to Management

Pretty amazing company you've built and love the focus you've put on all the development and management training. Only thing I'd change, is put a little more money into your people (salary, bonus structure or to spiff up the offices a bit)
