Aerotek – “A good window into the world of HR, but it's extremely limited.”

Pros

Let me just say that working at Aerotek isn't so bad, but I would encourage most people to consider it their "first job." I would suggest that you don't see this job as a career. Very few people are fortunate (or lucky I should say) to actually make A LOT of money here. Overall, the staffing industry isn't a prime place to be. Go in wanting to learn about the job market and what you need to succeed, and get out while you can.

Cons

Long hours, fairly low pay. If you're lucky enough to actually get a legit manager, you could be set. However, you may get someone that micromanages and it will drive you CRAZY.

Advice to Senior Management

Stop focusing on this whole "numbers game." It gets old really, really, really quick. Coming in to work worried about you not succeeding because you didn't interview 12 people on the week or complete a certain amount of phone calls is totally bogus and I hate it.
