Former Employee - Prior Authorization Coordinator in Tempe, AZ
Former Employee - Prior Authorization Coordinator in Tempe, AZ

I worked at Aerotek as a contractor (less than an year)

Pros

Sent me to a great client to work for.
You accrue time off after about 5 months.
You get paid every week.

Cons

When my client ended the assignment, they would not tell me why.
They ended my direct deposit without telling me, and mailed my check instead.
They can't seem to make a sandwich. You get different answers depending on who you ask questions. When they make a mistake, they don't make good on it. They don't remember anything during your conversation, so you had better keep good records of everything.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

When a client ends an assignment, find out the details why. Not just "This is a Right to Work State, and they don't have to give a reason." No one learns anything from that. Do what you say you're going to do.

    Pros

Great environment, training and team experience. Very commission oriented. Managers are very hands on and work closely with recruiters. Fast paced workload which is always changing.

    Cons

Some job requirements can be rather reduntant. Must be able to work in sometimes high stress environment. Work is influenced by economy and unemployment rates.
