I have been working at Aetna

Pros

Great place to wok and plenty of opportunity to grow within the organization. Moved around within the company pretty well and mostly all were friendly

Cons

As with anyplace there are simply some managers that should not be managing others.

Great Company for learning and continued professionalism

    Cons

Too lengthy to process and keep targeted decisions to a short a direct method

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you commit to a community or market business plan....let it play out before you cancel it by committee vote, who have no idea of the market.

I have been working at Aetna full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Uhmmm.... well the cafeteria is nice.

    Cons

No work life balance. Constant layoffs and no job security. Lots of offshoring. Horrible managers that are totally incompetent. Most jobs are high stress and most employees are overworked. The culture is terrible and moral is even worse. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a job

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do you think making employees pay for parking is a fair policy? If your looking for ways to cut costs, start looking at executive and manager salaries.
