I have been working at Aetna full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

The company has a good strategy and will probably do very well over the next few years. Flexible schedules including work at home.

    Cons

The company doesn't value IT employees. There has been at least one round of layoffs, and some times more, every year that I've been there. At least 80% of IT got a $0 raise this year. They also have a policy in which you can't bring on new IT hires in CT. If a hire is to be made, it needs to be in a lower cost state.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

IT is not a blue collar job. You are pushing talent out the door for short term gain.

    Positive Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
