Pros

Great people, interesting work. Company seems to genuinely want to provide a good work environment.

Cons

Poorly managed. New center still figuring out the details of proper staffing and technology management. Company is working to improve.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on staffling levels for business demands. Pay more attention to employee needs rather than making random attempts at "morale boosting" which are not successful.

    Pros

They have medical, dental, vision, prepaid legal, and a 401k plan. It's a part of the xerox company so we get alot of their perks too like discounts in certain stores and even cell phone companies. You get overtime and it really adds up when the holidays are close. There's a lot of paid holidays too but you can work them if you want and get double. The work is pretty easy and you don't have to move around a lot. You have to know how to use a computer and know how to spell but even if you can't they train you to do the job at least. Sometimes there will be rewards too like they'll get donuts or order us a pizza. Theres a lot of teamwork involved so you're never alone and can always ask somebody for help since there are a lot of people that have been there a long time and know alot.

    Cons

A lot of the complaints come from the people that do other things besides just take calls like auctions or floral because they get called a lot to take calls but if you already take calls then it's quality that gets you. You get dinged for little things and they count off for stuff like 'showing empathy' and dead air when you can't avoid that kind of stuff. They play favorites like they only choose who they like to move up and just deal with everybody else until they get pissed and quit or the higher ups find a reason to fire them. They fire people for one thing but dont even say nothing to someone for doing the same thing. They always say that if you don't like things then just quit and then do stuff that makes you want to quit. The dumbest thing is the dress code cause the members can't see you over the phone but they still want to you to wear collard shirts and the ladies can't wear shorts or flip flops, they send you home and tell you to come back or you get a point. The computers suck and they're slow but the calls keep coming in. They tell you to just take the call and tell the member to call back in like an hour if they break down which is all the time. They wont even let us go the bathroom when we need to and there's alot of pregnant ladies around that get written up for it. They really don't care about the employees at all and you can tell by just how you feel when you walk in. Nobody there likes that job and only work there because they have bills. This place is a dead end.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Show a little more compassion to your workers. Fight for us once in a while or the whole project is gonna fail!

    Pros

They will hire you unless you're totally useless, People are genuinely good, For this area its ok but not great.

    Cons

the commission structure is not good, pay is low for what you have to deal with, stressful sausage factory with high turnover

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Does upper management care? No. Change the commission structure, pay the reps and coaches a little more they deserve much more than they get.
