I have been working at Aflac full-time (more than a year)

Pros

You basically work as hard as you want. ITS your business!!! No upper management to report to unless you want to be part of the Regional / district day to day. YOUR Choice

Cons

The daily grind of "cold calling" either by phone or physical prospecting is what turns most "agents" off. UNLESS you really enjoy that.AND, if you need medical insurance for you/family, you probably won't survive unless you cancel ALL insurance like the other 50mm people in the USA.

I worked at Aflac full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

If you are lazy and dont' want to work too hard, this will be heaven for you.

    Cons

Unfortunately, the other reviews touch on the main issue--totally incompetent middle and senior mgmt. There's been such turnover at those levels in the last few years...people are brought in as the "next greatest bestest" thing and then fired months later...makes you wonder how much the company has paid to get rid of all of these folks.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management needs to decide on a path and take it.
