Pros

Great desks, good phones, mostly reliable operating systems. One trainer imparticular is awesome and the other trainers are extremely nice and proficient at their jobs. The upper management seems capable and the job itself is mostly enjoyable. Lots of activities and distractions to break up the day.

Cons

The coaches are haughty at best and demeaning on average. They aren't friendly and are extremely aloof. There seems to be drama all of the time. I really can't say how rudely the coaches behave toward what they seem to view as lesser lifeforms. They run off good reps within the first week. They have a "100%" attendance policy, what is the use of PTO that you can never take?

Advice to Management

Stop instilling a culture of exclusion between middle management and staff.

    Pros

    The pay and benefits are meaningful. The people are great. Good working enivronment. Coaches are wonderful. Some managers done care about their employees.

    Cons

    The hours are not flexable enough. The training is not perfect. It does not get you ready for real calls like on the floor. Managers have their mind of their own.

    Advice to Management

    Some management personnel and HR do not listen to their employees issue enough. My advice is to retrain them by putting them in their employees shoes and see how they handle issues. Teach them not deceive employees and tell the truth.

    Pros

    Great benefits, everyone does work as a team, the exempt staff has a high tenure, people are willing to help others.

    Cons

    Pay is terrible (not within market guidelines), opportunities for promotion are lacking (even when deserving), cart is always put before the horse, communication is lacking at all levels, very political

    Advice to Management

    Stop hiring directors and VP's and telling people "it's because we have to constantly hire new and fresh talent to be competitive" & stop promoting all these cosmetic/superficial ideas on how to make Afni a Great Place to Work & truly make it a Great Place to Work.
