Current Employee – been working at Aicpa

Pros – As long as you're doing a decent job, you won't get laid off, which is a good thing in this economy.

Cons – No upward advancement
Management is clueless
No transparency or communication from management
Major player wannabe without any strategic planning
Pointless reviews. Are told how to rate oneself as dictated by HR and then use those same low numbers to merit performance increments (or lack thereof)

Advice to Senior Management – Start engaging ALL employees and listen.
Provide merit awards to those who should be given them.
Stop coddling the NC office. There are four other locations whose employees need attention.
