    Pros

Medical, dental, savings, travel and retirement are just a few. Autonomy, and a fast-paced environment with room for professional and personal growth.

    Cons

Senior level management can be out of touch with the day-to-day operations of a recruiter. No cash incentives for a job well done.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the field in order to improve the bottom line. Promote only those that are truly deserving. Level the playing field.

  2. Helpful (1)

Great place to gain experience, long-term growth opportunities extremely limited.

    Pros

Middle management is very supportive and candid, very good feedback and communication of functional expectations from my experience. Initiative is rewarded and camaraderie is very strong.

    Cons

Vision and tactical direction from leadership is unstable and opaque. Better communication and goal clarity would be an extremely beneficial policy.

    Advice to Management

Commit to long-term goals and make them public. Instead of getting lost in benchmarks and metrics, figure out realistic goals that most satisfy core customers and concentrate on cementing them. Also, not transition training at position hand offs makes for a tremendously inefficient and unnecessary learning curve and creates inconsistency in standards along with a general lack of continuity. It's the forest for the trees.
