Pros

Fun people to work with, flexible management, and job security.

Cons

Company is resistant to change, departments are very segregated, and a very loose structure.

Advice to Management

Define and structure job positions to better organize departments, use investments more wisely instead of just assuming they will create profit, and define the niches the company works best in instead of spreading assets so thin across a large range of products.

    Pros

The people I work with are easy to get along with (mostly)

    Cons

It's more about who you know than what you know at this company. The people that actually keep the business going are treated like crap. Right now we are in the midst of a second wage freeze in four years. I understand if the economy is bad and what not but I know that Airgas is a big company that is making millions of dollars every year. If this was a small-business I could understand, but this company treats their employees terribly. People have families, and things to pay for. Not to mention the cost of living keeps going up. Ultimately, companies make decisions that they want to make. So what hurts the most, is when management lies directly to your face.

    Advice to Management

Stop lying, we're not that stupid. Lets get some raises already.

  2. I definetly feel like a cog in the machine, an easily replaceable cog.

    Pros

Not bad pay for a glorified cashier.

    Cons

The employee is definetly not a concern with this company.

    Advice to Management

Make moves to make your employees jobs easier and better not harder and more stressful.
