I have been working at Airline Tariff Publishing Company full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Commute is great, they invest in employees, health and education benefits are okay. Retirement is good if you are there for an extended stay. Generally not bothered on weekends which is amazing for IT.

    Cons

If you have ever played a big game and worked in large company this is a mom and pop shop. Senior manage management micromanages EVERYONE since Sr management have little to do. Few managers take ownership of any issue, it is pass the issue to who ever is not present. No acknowledgement for the mess that previous staff have created, nor the effort to clean it up.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

SR management should either move on or retire if they have worked there longer than 10 years or are a Senior leader. The politics is unbelievable for a company of 500 people. Management are narrow minded. As far as creativity of the IT development, what a laugh.
