I have been working at Alaska Airlines

    Pros

Good travel benefits, great co-workers, cross departmental movement and promotion, and flexible scheduling, that's if you are a part of management.

    Cons

Favoritism in the upper management ranks, a lack of diversity in management, and low pay compared to the same careers in other companies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please look at diversifying management, the next time you have a departmental meeting or team meeting look around and see if diversity is part of the "Alaska spirit".

I have been working at Alaska Airlines

    Pros

Flight benefits are great and getting better. Good Medical/Dental. Fair pay with longevity.

    Cons

Some middle management tries to manage through fear and intimidation. Decisions are made without enough consultation with the people who do and know the job. They want to bust the union

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to workers. Learn the job you are managing before making decisions about changes.
