Current Employee – been working at Alcatel-Lucent full-time for more than 10 years

Pros – my job allows me to telecommute. company culture allows work life balance. flexible hours. I can take time during the day to do things as long as I get my job done... even though the organization is big, i have to say that there is good process in place but not too much burden.

Cons – too many layoff's - force management, performance program... no raise for many years... the normal big company problem - we have to work with people from all over the world sometimes with time difference it is difficult to get stuff done as a local culture. there is still issues with alcatel and lucent merge of company the culture and so many different ways of doing things...
