I have been working at Alliant Credit Union full-time

Pros

- Challenging work - Good benitfits

Cons

- The pay does not match the level of work and expectations from management. - Constant restructuring of divisions.

Advice to Management

The company is feeling less like a Caring Credit Union & more like a Soulless Big Bank. Show more personal gratitude to your employees.

I worked at Alliant Credit Union full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Enjoyed the work and life balance, people are nice, and plenty of charity events over year.

    Cons

Relative small scale organization and not high bar on technology and quantitative risk management. So be aware of rusting your skill set.

    Advice to Management

Need take a leap on IMS for risk management.

  2. A Great Financial Institution in Need of Reform at the Top

    Pros

I was proud to be part of a company that offered such an incredible level of products and services to all of their members.

    Cons

Everyone works really hard and is taxed to their limit. This environment produces a limited work/life balance for those employees who really care and want to be successful in their job.

    Advice to Management

They need to listen to the feedback they receive from their employees and really do something about it. Instead of eliminating the people who are in a position to identify problems and their shortcomings, which is the coverup tactic currently being used.
