Generally there is a lot to do and a fair amount of independence in getting things done.

Decent benefit plan and nice catered lunch.

Casual Work environment.

Cons

Organization is flat. Training or promotional opportunities are rare.

Little investment in technology or employees - although managers do get leadership training.

Heavy debt means that company is very responsive to the share price/eps to keep the owners/lenders happy.

Advice to Senior Management

You talk a good game but I fail to see any real movement in 'Making Allied the Best Place to Work'. Now you have decided to let Republic Services purchase Allied and it will be a horrible thing. Good for Executive Management - bad for everyone else I think.
