    I worked at AlliedBarton full-time

    Pros

I had a great operational manager to work with, he really should have been the district manager in Lowell, MA office. Great cleints to work for! Pay was decent. Great working conditions on high tech business accounts. Account Managers stick together and care about thier employees

    Cons

Very dictator type district manager ran district for some time, I understand he no longer works for the company. Unprofessional use of language and intimidated account managers under his control, no people skills, poor response to his clients needs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Openly talk to your account managers and clients about how they are being treated by district management.

I have been working at AlliedBarton full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great managers who do not micromanage, good employees and hiring practices, lots of upwards mobility if you are capable.

    Cons

Pay is low but that is nationwide in the security industry. Some properties insist on unarmed guards which is really ridiculous especially with todays terror threats and crime.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Push for more commissioned (armed) site it pays better and it increases officer safety. Issue body armor as ppe instead of making officer purchase it if they want it. Several officers have been killed in recent years and body armor could prevent that.
