Pros

Time off for family crises was no problem
You earn vacation from day 1
Pay was decent
Company is hesitant to fire anyone
No one stands over your back; you can come and go as you please

Cons

Pay rarely increases
There is no room for advancement unless you relocate
Work is redundant
Hours are very long while you are learning

Advice to Management

Financial incentives would probably keep more employees from leaving.
A less-stringent vacation schedule would make employees happier.
Telecommuting should be implemented.

    Pros

Great people to work with, great Brand.

    Cons

Not enough people understand the business of insurance and the ones that did are no longer there. Unfortunately the current leadership doesn't understand that this problem is critical.

    Pros

Friendly atmosphere for those who are not excluded.

    Cons

Some employees pushed way too hard, whereas others are left to do their own thing almost every day.
Definite cronyism. Advancement based on who you know.
The Leadership team is disjointed and some never offer assistance even when it is asked for.
Merits achieved are not celebrated, but failures are labeled, starred, highlighted.

    Advice to Management

Give the power to the lower level employees. They know what changes need to be made to the system used. They are in touch with the customers unlike the leaders.
