Former Employee – worked at Allstate as a contractor for more than 7 years
Pros – Access to Exclusive Agents book of business for property and casualty customers which can range from 300 to 5000 households per agency. Free office space and use of all business equipment. Friendly support staff in local agencies.
Cons – Allstate isn't completely committed to the EFS program. Support for EFS is limited. Main focus is on Exclusive Agents. Also, Exclusive Agents aren't intelligent on the finacial services industry.
Life insurance and fixed annuities are proprietory products of Allstate and rates aren't competitive in the market.
Advice to Senior Management – Support EFS in relationships with EA's. Please don't allow EA's to treat EFS like they are disposable commodities.
