    Pros

Term conversion opportunities, Book of business to cross sell, flexible hours, minimal overhead costs

    Cons

1099 means paying self employment tax, very few benefits, trying to find Agent partner that matches personality

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Quit nickel and diming commission structures. It looked good early but those percentages keep getting chipped away.

I worked at Allstate full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Descent benefits and the company believes in work/balance life. There are opportunities for telecommuting or working from home a couple of days every week. The people are friendly and willing to help.

    Cons

For the past several years the company has been outsourcing work and downsizing. That has led to a workload issue for the remaining resources. The keeps stating we have to do more with less. This has caused some morale issues in areas that have heavy workloads and not enough resources.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Either reduce the number of projects to lessen the pressure and stress on resources or hire more people.
