Alpha Technologies Employee Review

Current Employee – been working at Alpha Technologies full-time for less than a year

Pros – -The company is rather stable while retaining a small friendly culture
-There has been quite a bit of autonomy in both of the positions I have held
-The company does as much as it can to retain working employees

Cons – -Somewhat polarized; difficult to progress without working your way into sales or having a strong engineering background
-Starkly contrasted business units do not integrate well together and make for a confusing and inefficient infrastructure
 -Deep rooted political structure makes for erratic workflow cycles

Advice to Senior Management – The largest challenge in any given day is sorting through what has become a very sprawled out business. By utilizing the existing tools (SAP) in a broader depth much of this frustration could be minimized.
