Pros – Satisfying your outdoor gear fix is a very attainable goal. Management is young, easy-going, and knowledgable. You'll get taken care of for being good at your job. Connections to the outdoor industry come with the territory.
Cons – Has lost some of its mom and pop feel since the "good ole days". Retail is seasonal and summers are slower. People still wear North Face.
