Altera has great growth potential, if only management can embrace changes instead of resisting it.

Cons

Too many managers, not enough engineers. It typically takes 3-4 managers to agree before one engineer can do a simple task.

Advice to Senior Management

Push out the old guard, bring in new blood. Stop talking about "processes" and focus on getting results. Focus on bleeding-edge technical developments. Offshore everything low-tech.
