I worked at Amazon.com as an intern for less than a year

Pros

-Able to learn lots of things
-Interns actually get to do important things. You get to learn what it's like to be a manager and get assigned a project
-People are hard-working and fun
-Great benefits - pay is solid, housing, car rental

Cons

-Lack of communication - seemed like associates are given different instructions by managers
-High turnover at company (many managers left)
-Wasn't the most organized internship

I have been working at Amazon.com as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros

It's a budding business, with a very enthusiastic team. Being a small team you get to try out a lot of different things.

    Cons

The design team is kind of small, so everyone multitasks, with the result there might be less specialization.
