I have been working at Amazon.com for more than a year

    Pros

Work with some of the smartest people I've ever met. Fast paced. Live the leadership principles every day. Value calculated risk taking and experimentation and piloting new things

    Cons

Too fast paced often... Working in silos, poor program management, project management and change management. Heavy focus on data and metrics, which can be a great thing, but data sources all over the place. Flavor of the week mentality with priorities. Limited closed feedback loops

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Set clear priorities, re- evaluate benefits packages, communicate a clear strategy, invest in educating and developing people
