I worked at Ambius full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

Working with and taking care of plants is the only Pro at this company

Cons

Management only cares about the bottom line, not the customer or the employee. Too many changes, lack of or no training, poor family/personal time during the holidays. You only get a good review & raise if you are in good with Mgmt.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire the right person for the right job and listen to what your employees are telling you not just when other managers tells you what you want to hear. And listen to your customers.

Former Employee - Administrative Assistant in Portland, OR

I worked at Ambius part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    I don't work there anymore.

    Cons

Horrible training; was hired to be an administrative assistant, and was taught virtually nothing about company processes. Ended up turning into a field worker, where I received little guidance, and was on several occasions went out to do fairly intensive labor without the appropriate tools or instruction.

Shortly after passing my probationary period, I broke my toe. I visited the doctor, took a few days off, and during this period I received a letter in the mail with my termination. Classy.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
