Amdocs – “If you have more than 1 year experience: stay away!”

Pros

Great place for starting up a career. Lots of experienced programmers around (have to look for them carefully though :)

Cons

Basically no possibility of career advance. Not much professional growth available after a certain level.
The worst mid level management I ever seen.
Promotion criteria: years in the company, whom do you know, sucking up to the boss.
Much too many non-technical personnel.

Advice to Senior Management

Middle managers: you need to understand that you need to be qualified for the job you are doing.
Senior management: go back to earth.
