It was life changing!

Corps Member (Former Employee)

I worked at AmeriCorps full-time for less than a year

ProsI got to travel for free and was provided uniform. Doing a year of service, I also got to meet a bunch of different and interesting young people from all across the USA. Also, with the nature of NCCC (doing a different project/moving every 2 months) you get to wear a lot of different 'hats' if you are not sure where you see yourself career wise.

ConsSometimes the hours were long (because you have 10 months to complete 1700 volunteer hours).

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
