I have been working at America's Job Network

Pros

Unlimited income potential, no micromanagement. Reasonably flexible scheduling. Decent benefits.

Cons

High staff turnover with an expectation of a high failure rate, no guarantee of any income, no middle management with any influence. Arbitrary decisions on converting employees from 1099 to W-2. No human resources functions. Family-owned and run like a kingdom with kings and princes that do as the king says without questioning or correction. Favoritism runs rampant, but favorites can become slugs literally overnight. Constant change for the sake of change without any planning. Over 85% of the workforce is paid on straight commission, whether in sales, sales management or client delivery services. Highly volatile and disrespected industry. Very difficult, high-cost intangible service sale.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Open up communications. Risk giving commissioned employees a draw to survive on until they become successful. Don't change products every week or month. Stop changing the business name. Do the right things.

    Pros

    Most effective service, proven record of success; unique system. Worth the cost an/or effort;
    AJN helps prepare job hunting prospects increase their job hunting effectiveness at no cost - WHERE ELSE CAN AN UNEMPLOYED AMERICAN GET SUCH A SERVICE?

    The Professional fees may appear to be high, yet when quoted within the context of a 3-6 month professional support effort coupled with successful results - the paid fee almost fades into insignificance.

    Cons

    A long term learning, self improvement and mentoring process. The individuals who can sustain a constant, changing learning climate will be successful.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Thank you for such a great opportunity - and for such continued support in light of my long term learning curve. Most companies would not allow such a long term process for employees while waiting for them to make a contribution.
