Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get a clue, kick out some of these people that constantly harrass others. HR does nothing. I had to get out of this business..it was killing me. The reason that they are in BK now is basic, they treat employees like crap

Good exposure, but really depends on what department/role you are playing

    I worked at American Airlines

    Pros

    - Good exposure, opportunity to experience F travel on AA flights on duty travel
    - Supportive colleagues

    Cons

    - Pay is very uncompetitive
    - No clear focus, direction: you are expected to complete multiple, conflicting objectives and even when you are doing well on the hard numbers, you can be castigated for not fully meeting other objectives.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - This could be a personality flaw than management flaw, but some of the directors rely/show favouritism to certain vendors/agencies even when a project is obviously white-elephant and heading no where, and objective of such projects does not fit within the company's core competencies. Vendor management process should be formalized and not left with one single manager/director to make the final call - personality flaws will lead to huge mis-directionn and waste of resources.
