Reservations Rep

Reservations Agent (Current Employee) Dallas, TX

ProsFree travel. Good health benefits if working in office as opposed to home based.
Great group of co workers and good for those who like a fast-paced environment.
Always opportunities to learn something new. Interesting customers...some difficult and some pleasant. If you appreciate the challenge of solving customer service issues in a way that satisfies both customer and company this is the job for you.

ConsVery strict oversight and attendance policy. Starting pay is not easy to live on and it takes a while to reach a decent hourly rate of pay. At times the company's policies can be frustrating to deal with. To a certain extent the company is beginning to listen to and respond to employee comments and suggestions but it can be frustratingly slow to get responses to employee concerns and questions.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

    Good pay, bad management

Fleet Service Clerk (Former Employee) Miami, FL

I worked at American Airlines part-time for more than 5 years

Pros: As a Fleet Service Clerk, pay begins at a little over $10 part time (pretty good). You get about a dollar increase each year till… Cons: -Work can be heavy and frustrating at times -You may be given a mandatory overtime extension due to weather or other delays. -Threat of layoff is always… Advice to Senior Management: Hire more managers who have actually worked ramp, and are… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More
