    Pros

People that Ive met working at the gates.

    Cons

EVERYTHING!! No raises, over worked, always short, the managment doesnt care that you have a life outside of there. Over 6 years and only making 10.95/hour!! Pathetic.

    Advice to Management

Good thing US airways is comming in and getting rid of AA/AE managment.

    Pros

Had a flexibility to change shifts.

    Cons

It's hard physical work which have workers with a lot of injuries. These guys are the backbone to the airline. It's just like Marines they the first line of defense. With out the passengers bags making on the same flight can make them frustrated.

    Advice to Management

Pay the ramp more money. When the crew of 6 guys off load about 150 bags on a Super 80 and then load same out bound. Figure the 6 guys make about $22.00 per hour equals $132.00. Now figure between 100 to 150 at $25.00 per bag equals between $2500.00 to $3750.00 per flight. Now do you think the ramp is costing the company too much? After 39 years was glad to retire.
