Fundraising work in geneal requiresw a lot of long hours, weekend and evening work - but that is the name of the game. A lot of opportunities for growth, training, and travel.

Cons

A lot of internal politics, as would be the case for any organization of a comparable size. Learn to play the game, or you will have a hard time. Also, as is the case in "internal" politics heavy organizations, sometimes less competant, but better known management staff get promoted.
