I have been working at American Cancer Society full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Making a difference in people's lives. Working each day towards creating a world without cancer. Fun co-workers, teamwork environment. Many entities coming together to fulfill our mission.

    Cons

Not for myself, but others - change is not a friend. This will all change once "transformation" is complete. Many initiatives, perhaps not enough focus. 100th Birthday, CPS, RFL, etc.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

K.I.S.S! Too many calls, not enough personal interaction.

I worked at American Cancer Society full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

It was very rewarding to work with the cancer patients and the survivors.

    Cons

Certainly was a sad situation when you found out that someone lost their fight against cancer.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure that if people are looking for advancement, that you supply them with things you say you will.
