It was great. Then it wasn't.

I worked at American Cancer Society full-time for more than a year

ProsA few incredibly creative people; salary; benefits; work/life balance.

ConsUpper management is dishonest. They fired my supervisor because she was too successful and rocked the boat to much. They love mediocrity.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet out of your own way. When you say you're a "talent-focused organization," try to actually mean it.
