Good company with good moral foundation, but management is 20 years behind the times.

I have been working at American Cast Iron Pipe full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Good benefits and work/life balance. Cultural foundation is fantastic, but not always lived up to. Time off is another positive.

    Cons

There is no advancement, company leadership is 20 years behind. Employees have entitlement behavior instead of what is best for me vs. what is best for the company. Too much politics going on internally.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get with the times and be more open to change. Embrace those that have experience outside the company and what they bring to the table instead of being stuck in the same rut for 35 years with employees that haven't worked anywhere else.
