I worked at American Eagle Outfitters part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Fellow employees are typically very nice and entertaining.
    Pretty good discount.
Enjoyed creating outfits and seeing the new trends.
    Shifts were not long.
Get to dress however you wish.

    Cons

Managers are all pretty stuck up and don't care about the employees, only sales.
Constantly pressuring you to be interacting with customers, even if they are just there to browse or have stated they do not need any help.
Have an "on-call" shift system, so most of the time you're unsure of when you'll actually be finished work, because near the end of your shift they may ask you to stay for your on call.
On-call's also before your shift sometimes, where you have to call them and ask them if they would like you to come in for your on-call. Inconvenient because you are unaware when you are starting work.
Most shifts are 4 hours, meaning you don't get a break, so on your feet on the sales floor for 4 hours.
